G Electronics has appointed Hugo Lambourn as its new general manager of air conditioning and
energy solutions for the UK, Eire and Nordic region.
Jukes has almost 30 years’ experience in building services.
He was previously senior project engineer for a national engineering company where he worked on m&e contracts for both the i54 phase 2 Jaguar Land Rover project in Wolverhampton and the Midland Metropolitan Hospital.
Mr Lambourn will be based at LG’s Brooklands headquarters in Weybridge, Surrey.
Having spent over 30 years in the HVAC and construction industry, he has extensive knowledge and experience of many air conditioning and heating brands.
Mr Lambourn’s recent positions include those of managing director for Trox in Thetford, and, previously, branch director for Daikin Air Conditioning in Bristol. He commented: “LG offers a great brand, a high quality product portfolio and a huge opportunity in today’s marketplace and it’s a challenge I’m looking forward to in the months and years ahead, as we also strive to further enhance service quality.”
Building services firm J S Wright has boosted its all-round m&e expertise after appointing Terry Jukes as mechanical and electrical project manager.

Having started his career as an apprentice with an engineering firm in West Bromwich, Mr Jukes’ credits also include projects for HMP Parc Bridgend prison, Millennium Point, Selfridges, and Shropshire schools. Mr Jukes is currently managing a £10.5m contract to supply and install the mechanical services for Fish Island, a new 423-home residential village in East London.

Conex Bänninger has completed the expansion of its UK sales team with the appointments of two new technical sales managers for Scotland and Northern Ireland and London and the South East.

Mr Dickson has worked in the industry for 15 years, most recently for two of the UK’s best-known boiler manufacturers. He said: “Conex Bänninger is a well-respected global plumbing fittings brand and I look forward to working closely with the merchants, local authorities, consultants and contractors in both Scotland and Northern Ireland.” Mr Simpson (pictured) has nearly 20 years’ experience, having held sales roles from merchant manager through to sales manager. He said: “Having worked extensively within the pipe and fittings market, I fully understand customers’ needs both in the m&e and domestic sectors.” Prior to joining Conex Bänninger, Mr Simpson worked with many of the major contractors in London, selling heat interface units in to the new- build market.

Pentland Wholesale has appointed Brendan Murphy as its distributor business development manager covering the South of England, working with and developing the Pentland Wholesale distributor partner network.
He has worked within the foodservice industry for more than 30 years, initially as a chef, and has been involved in winning commercial equipment specifications whilst working for Falcon Foodservice, Glen Dimplex, and most recently, Lincat.
Mr Murphy also brings a wealth of experience from time spent working on catering distributors’ national accounts and in the public sector. He said: “Pentland Wholesale is a company with great people, products and prices. I am looking forward to meeting existing distributors and developing new strategic partners to grow the business with Pentland Wholesale.”
