Panasonic
The new Heat & Cool App from Panasonic off ers complete control of your property’s air-conditioning from anywhere in the world and at any time. Supported with the Panasonic RAC WiFi
kit (CZ-TACG1) for internet control, the app allows you to operate air- conditioning across multiple rooms and manage energy consumption - all from an Android or iOS smart device. Toshiba
Toshiba Air Conditioning has introduced two new compact models of single-fan inverter-based VRF outdoor condensing units, for use in applications with restricted space. Available in 4hp and
5hp versions, the height has been reduced by 26% compared with the company’s previous condensing unit, and the weight reduced by 16kg. Powered by single-phase electrical supply, applications may include
offi ces, restaurants, apartments and smaller hotels. The units are based on Toshiba’s twin-rotary direct current compressor and feature a new large diameter fan propeller to move large volumes of air with low sound levels. The fan includes anti-eddy projections to minimise turbulence and improve effi ciency. The 4hp version (MCY-MHP0406HT-E) off ers cooling duty of up to 12.1kW and heating up to 12.5kW, while the 5hp unit (MCY- MHP0506HT-E) delivers up to 14kW of cooling and 16kW of heating. The units are compatible with the full range of applicable Toshiba VRF indoor units, and off er connection from two up to 10 indoor units on the 5hp, and up to eight indoor units on the 4hp.
