HEAT RECOVERY

plate heat exchanger and has an integrated water pump and controls thus the condenser fans can be switched off giving even greater savings.

 Desuperheating mode: Once the water has been preheated and the fans are turned on, the heat recovery system continues heating up the water (gas desperheating) up to 40°C. When the water reaches 40°C the unit will switch to de-superheating mode and automatically turn the condenser fans back on - in the summer water can reach temperatures up to 70°C.

The real savings The real savings

The first thing for ACR contractors to take into consideration is the unique selling point heat recovery systems can provide them with - when quoting for jobs they are able to offer the end user a significant cost payback on their capital investment. This is a substantial advantage and should be communicated with customers when quoting on any job, or project which could benefit from a heat recovery system.

The second thing to consider is that an advanced heat recovery system will effectively Your

recycle wasted thermal energy to create large quantities of high temperature water at no cost at all.

Additional benefits also include energy bill reductions, leak detection – reducing CO2

emissions as well as an overall reduction in wasted water on cooled condensers.

Sectors to look out for Sectors to look out for

Heat recovery systems can be used across a range of applications and sectors in need of cooling and heating facilities.

Acr contractors are suitably placed to

provide businesses with either cold rooms or refrigerated displays, right through to hot water production or low temperature heating, with the knowledge and advice they need to make significant energy savings.

Some of the sectors which could benefit from heat recovery systems include:       
