J2 Innovations

J2 Innovations, a Siemens Company, has unveiled the entry-level FIN microBMS, a compact feature-rich building management software package that enables its OEM partners to deliver easy-to-install solutions for small to mid-sized buildings across multiple sites J2 Innovations, the developer of the easy-to-configure and use software platform for building automation and IoT applications, FIN Framework (FIN), has today launched the FIN microBMS, a compact feature-rich building management software package that enables its OEM partners to deliver easy-to-install solutions for small to mid-sized buildings across multiple sites. The entry-level FIN-based system is a powerful simple-to-use plug-and-play solution for efficient building management that has removed much of the complexity and cost found in many of today’s BMSs from building control specialists. Users can monitor, control and visualise all the operational and energy assets such as HVAC, lighting and security systems inside a building or buildings across numerous sites to optimize the comfort levels, safety and energy efficiency. A dashboard flags the status or health as well as maintenance requirements of all the connected devices while trend monitoring and utility metering are reported by the system. Plug & play simplifies the installation of any preconfigured hardware solutions.

Panasonic

Panasonic Heating and Cooling has added the J Generation Monobloc with R32 refrigerant to its Aquarea air to water heat pump range. Suitable for new installations and low energy homes, the heat

pump packs a high-performance system into one compact outdoor unit. Adapting to the needs of any space

Carel

Carel is highlighting its knowledge and experience in indoor air quality with the launch of a new website devoted entirely to healthcare. With three different sections, the site highlights the close relationship between relative humidity control and air quality, and consequently personal well-being. The site features both technical diagrams and more descriptive contents, so as to provide a broad overview of the topic and make it more readily accessible to different readers. Specific documents are also available, such as white papers and success stories.

Indoor air quality, being a critical element in people’s health and well-being, has always been at the centre of CAREL’s attention. Indeed the company has acquired significant expertise in this area, the result of its extensive experience in air conditioning, air handling and humidification, as well as its participation at specialist conferences and seminars and synergies with international networks aimed at disseminating and advancing knowledge.

The #CARELcares hashtag is focused on individuals and their health and well-being.

The advanced outdoor system provides residential projects with both hot water (DHW), heat for radiators and underfloor heating. With a range of capacities available, from 5kW to 9kW, the J Generation Monobloc offers lower operational cost options than other solutions. The range fully adapts the system to the needs of the space, whether it is a new build or a refurbishment, as it can reach up to 60°C water outlet even at -10oC outdoor temperature. The new J Generation delivers a higher capacity in heating of up to +25%, and in cooling up to +30%.

Thanks to the Monobloc’s neat design, it only takes up a small space outside the property, with the refrigerant sealed in the small outdoor unit, therefore only requiring water pipes inside. An ideal solution for new build projects, the Aquarea J Generation Monobloc can be easily installed in areas with limited space, or even in larger spaces that require a more aesthetically pleasing and unobtrusive design.

With sustainability at the forefront of Panasonic’s innovations, the Monobloc offers substantial benefits to the end-user and their impact on the environment. Using advanced air-to- water technology, the Aquarea range ensures a very efficient, environmentally friendly solution, even in temperatures as low as -20°C. As well as providing heating and hot water, Aquarea can deliver cooling in the summer.

The system is compatible with the Aquarea Smart Cloud for end- users to remotely control the full range of heating and cooling functions, including monitoring energy consumption for both energy and cost-saving possibilities. It can also be connected to the Aquarea Service Cloud to allow installers to remotely access their customer’s heating and cooling systems. www.aircon.panasonic.eu
