n 25 November Centro Studi Galileo hosted a side event alongside the 32nd Meeting of the Parties to the Montreal Protocol – MOP32, focused on low-GWP training and certifi cation.
With a great attendance of UN delegates and experts, the online event featured presentations from international project partners – including the European Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Heat Pump Contractors (AREA), the International Institute of Refrigeration (IIR), and the UK Institute of Refrigeration (IOR) – presenting the EU-funded blended learning project and their experiences of joining REAL Alternatives, providing in-class training and certifi cation in their home countries throughout the years.
The webinar faced relevant and up-to-date topics such as: Training and certifi cation, mandatory or voluntary, their advantages, commitment to improving standards, policy implications, etc.
Alternative and natural refrigerants in the HVAC/R sector worldwide
REAL Alternatives training impact worldwide: why organisations got involved in the project, what they have achieved and how they see the future.
