Inside Story The lowdown...

…on Optic-Kleer. Managing director David Overton reveals the support franchisees receive to set up their business and to ensure it is successful

INVESTMENT LEVEL: FROM £15,000

How does Optic-Kleer help franchisees set up their business? Together with our recommended accountant, we help set up the limited company for the franchisee, including vat registration. We provide support to launch and run a successful business. We also provide full training on our processes, as well as the tools and uniform required to go out and start earning from day one.

Where do franchisees get their business? Franchisees are mainly situated in supermarket car parks. Customers are drawn to Optic-Kleer by our striking branding and the convenience of having

their windscreen repaired while they shop. We also drive customers to the franchisees from our website. Therefore, there is no need for leaflet drops, cold calling, door knocking or prospecting, as the massive, virtually untapped marketplace of customers comes to the franchisees.

“We work with franchisees to ensure opportunities are maximised”

What ongoing support is given? I was an Optic-Kleer franchisee myself prior to owning the company, so I have had many years of experience of repairing windscreens and running my own business to share with the franchisees. Ongoing support is also provided by a dedicated mentor, and the existing team of franchisees are always keen to help and share best practice.

Who decides where the franchisees work?

Every franchisee has their own exclusive territory to work, which includes more- than-sufficient major supermarkets. We work with the franchisees to help plan
