SIR and SIR Foundation launch
2015 annual report This year’s SIR/SIR Foundation annual report (
sirweb.org/annreport) describes how IR is “Becoming the first choice for patients by putting patients first.” Even as interventional radiologists develop disease-specific relationships with their patients, the specialty has never lost sight that patient impact is at the center of what IRs do.
With this in mind, the report describes society and foundation accomplishments through the lens of the patient, celebrating IR’s impact through multimedia clips, patient stories and more.
The report organizes 2015 society and foundation accomplishments in three sections according to what they ultimately mean for patients: Cutting-edge care; Hope for the future; and Promise in the present.
Read and share this year’s digital annual report (
sirweb.org/annreport) with nonmember colleagues, referring physicians and others, and help spread the word on how IR is becoming the first choice for patients.
