HE weather defi ed all the forecasters’ gloomy predictions and served up another mainly dry day for the golfers at the Northern Ireland Travel News
Golf Classic.
Apart from an odd spit and spot during the afternoon it was another glorious day of competitive golf, with Blue Insurance’s Jason Whelan taking the fi rst prize sponsored by Irish Ferries.
Jason won a Return Ferry crossing to France with Irish Ferries for a Car and Two Adults and Two Children on board the new super ferry the WB Yeats, including cabin accommodation plus eight nights in any KelAir Campotel Campsite.
The Team Prize was won by the P&O Ferries team which won a 4-Ball at The Hilton, Templepatrick while Cara Murphy won the Ladies prize – Golf Vouchers courtesy of Northern Ireland Travel News.
