BBT ROUNDS UP THE LATEST BUSINESS TRAVEL INDUSTRY APPOINTMENTS
CLARE DE BONO Amadeus has appointed Clare de Bono as head of product and innovation for UK and Ireland. De Bono previously worked at STA Travel Group, where she headed up a number of global initiatives, including the roll-out of new online booking engines.
PETE STEPHENS Flight Centre Travel Group has appointed Pete Stephens as corporate chief technology officer for Europe and Africa. His industry experience spans 28 years, and he has held positions at British Aerospace and Logica (now CGI).
BENEDICTE OLLAGNON Benedicte Ollagnon has been appointed as partner-director in the UK and Ireland for HRS. She has 20 years’ industry experience, and was previously director of strategic and key accounts at Accorhotels, and has had senior sales roles at Radisson Edwardian Blu.
PATRICK ONIYELU Clarity Travel Management has appointed Patrick Oniyelu as business development manager. Oniyelu was previously business development manager at Key Travel. He has expertise in sectors including events, finance and sport.
PAUL RAMIREZ Paul Ramirez has been appointed as global data leader at FCM. He brings more than 20 years’ experience across industries including banking, insurance and telecoms, and he was most recently managing consultant for IBM Digital.
AMANDA KOTENKO
Amanda Kotenko has been appointed as head of UK account management for Amadeus. After starting her career at Exxon Mobil, she spent 14 years at American Express, where she held a number of senior roles across multiple business lines.
AMANDA HITE Hotel data analyst STR has promoted Amanda Hite to president and chief executive officer. Hite is in her 11th year with STR, and she served as president and COO for the last five, overseeing STR’s database grow to 7.2m rooms in 53,000 hotels worldwide.
ASHLEIGH RIMMER Ashleigh Rimmer has been appointed senior account director at Event Travel Management, a division of Corporate Travel Management. She has nine years’ management experience in agency, not-for-profit and association roles.
KATE HEMMINGS
Bristol-based business travel provider CTI has appointed Kate Hemmings as sales partnership manager for hotels. She has 16 years’ industry experience, having worked for some of the world’s largest hotel groups, including Hilton.

TAMARA VALLOIS Low-cost carrier Wizz Air has appointed Tamara Vallois as head of communications. She joined Wizz Air in 2013 as a corporate communications manager, having previously worked in marketing and communications at Colgate- Palmolive and General Motors.
TODD ARTHUR Todd Arthur has been appointed vice-president of sales and market development for Sabre Travel Network Asia-Pacific. He has over 20 years’ experience in the travel industry, and his most recent role was as managing director for HRS in Asia-Pacific.
PETER BRUN Visa and passport specialist VFS Global has appointed Peter Brun as chief communications officer. Based in Dubai, Swiss national Brun joins VFS from Kuoni Group, where he served most recently as its COO.
