Mystery shopper Nuneaton
This month our mystery shopper checked out KBB retailers in Nuneaton where they found a mixed bag of standards. Some showrooms were tricky to fi nd, but clearly well worth seeking out

This was one of the most unprepossessing
and hard-to-
fi nd showrooms (or to be more accurate, pair of showrooms) I’ve ever had to fi nd. Tucked away in a residential area
with a few corner shops scattered around, I drove around in several circles (thanks to the fact
that one
residential street was completely closed off!) before fi nding it. There is one kitchen showroom and opposite, across a yard and past a full skip, was the bathroom showroom. I tackled the kitchen showroom fi rst, after asking the assistant, who was ensconced in the bathroom showroom, if it was OK to look around. The kitchen section was very low-key and seemed a little lacking in

This was another showroom that I found diffi cult to fi nd. But, I did the circuit again, found the right exit and parked in Halfords opposite.
I had the feeling this would be a hidden gem, and it was. Top marks to the sales assistant, who was charming and welcoming. They explained how the company worked, showed me some Virtual Worlds plans, and then let me look around in peace. There was a fab Schüller set in mustard, plus some emerald green cabinetry as well. Imaginative and inspiring, with excellent info leafl ets on display, including prices. Great choice of work surfaces with lots of sample chips and a good display using Technistone.

I sailed past this bathroom showroom a couple of times, as my original plan for the day was to visit Kitchens World next door, which turned out to be closed because of the atrocious weather. However, CPHS turned out to be
quite a fi nd. There was a sales counter as

lots of small-space concepts, and a lot of variety and ideas packed into a relatively small showroom.
The sales approach was not pushy at all, they were friendly and helpful with explanations of delivery times and schedules,
