Graham Meehan has been appointed as TKC’s new regional sales manager for the North-East. Meehan has many years’ experience in the kitchen sector and most recently worked at Omega for 10 years as a sales manager. In that role, he managed and built relationships with retailers and merchants to expand the network. Andy Marshall, sales director at TKC, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Graham to TKC as we continue to drive national sales of our Jigsaw brand. He brings a great depth of knowledge, contacts and professionalism, which will undoubtedly benefit both our performance and development of the brand.” Meehan said: “I’m thrilled to have joined TKC.”

HANSGROHE KATIE WESTON


Hansgrohe UK has welcomed Katie Weston as its new project sales manager. Weston began her career in the bathroom industry as a designer at West One Bathrooms. Most recently she held the role of project specification manager at Villeroy and Boch. In her new role at Hansgrohe, Weston will offer design and specification support for residential and hospitality clients. Paul Harman, head of UK projects at Hansgrohe, said: “Katie brings an extensive wealth of knowledge and sector experience to her new role, including bespoke design creative solutions to support architects and designers. We are pleased and proud to welcome her to the team.”


HOOVER CANDY


KITCHEN STUDIO TEAM


Hoover Candy has set up a team to work with independent kitchen studios, builders merchants and regional kitchen furniture manufacturers. The team will be headed up by Dan Halfpenney (centre) as head of kitchen independents and contracts. He will be assisted by account managers Dan Connell (right) and Stewart McLelland (left). Focusing on the brands’ built-in product offerings, the team will report to channel director Sion Howard and will be supported by chef and TV presenter Simon Rimmer, who is one of Hoover’s cooking ambassadors. It will aim to strengthen the company’s strategy to “work with outlets on the frontline of kitchen design”.


FRANKE JO RAWSTRON, CHRIS GALLAGHER


Franke UK has made two internal promotions. Jo Rawstron has been named as its new sales and marketing director and Chris Gallagher is the company’s new sales director for projects and key accounts. In her new role, Rawstron – who joined the brand in 2012 – will be responsible for all kitchen studio-related sales, together with marketing and customer service for the Franke, Carron Phoenix and KWC brands in the UK. Meanwhile, Gallagher – who has been with the business for seven years – will be responsible for project and key account sales of the Franke, Carron Phoenix and KWC brands.

PJH PAULA WILSON, DARREN TURNER, CHARLOTTE HALL


As part if its continuous growth strategy, PJH has appointed three new sales development managers to its team. With over 30 years’ experience in the bathroom and tile industry, Paula Wilson (left) has joined the business to look after clients in the northern and Scottish regions. Charlotte Hall joins the company’s northern sales team and will be responsible for growing and maintaining sales with both current and prospective retail and merchant customers. Last, but not least, Darren Turner – who previously worked for Active Plumbing Supplies and Porcelanosa – joins the South-West team.


FAUCETS GARRY SMITH IAN HANMER


Faucets, a distributor for the bathroom sector, has welcomed Garry Smith (left) as senior business development manager and Ian Hanmer as senior account manager, hotels. Smith’s previous position was sales director at Grohe. He will be developing relationships for all of Faucets’ brands. Ian Hanmer has more than 16 years’ experience in the hotel sector and his previous role was at Methven. Darren Taylor, Faucets managing director, said: “Both Garry and Ian will bring a tremendous amount of industry knowledge, experience and contacts to the business. We all feel this is a major win for Faucets.”
