A look at what’s new in the hub of the modern home Compiled by: George Dean

DAVAL | Sage green Mayfair

Kitchen manufacturer Daval has introduced a new sage green super-matt finish to its Mayfair furniture range. It has a low gloss level, which is said to be highly resistant to fingerprints, and Daval claims it is less prone to scratches than other kinds of matt furniture. Mayfair furniture also makes use of thermo- reversible healing technology, so that kitchen owners can repair any superficial micro-scratches to the furniture with just an iron and a damp cloth. www.daval-furniture.co.uk

QUOOKER | Flex and Fusion

Quooker has added two new finishes to its Flex and Fusion ranges of boiling water taps: rose copper (pictured) and gunmetal. Rose copper is said to be inspired by combining the hues of natural copper with a hint of pink, while the new gunmetal finish combines dark green hues with blue undertones. As with other models on offer from Quooker, the Flex and Fusion products are able to deliver hot, cold, and boiling water in an instant. www.quooker.co.uk

KELLER | Marbling Moods

Demonstrating that classic designs will always be in style, Keller has unveiled its new Marbling Moods kitchen. Said to embrace utility and function alongside a retro aesthetic, the kitchen combines walnut tones with olive-green matt lacquer shades. Keller says that the wood veneer front of the doors can be exchanged for a melamine door in wood décor for those consumers who are looking for attainable luxury options at a reduced price point. www.kellerkitchens.com

FRANKE | Brass Eiger and Cotswold

Catering for the increased consumer demand for metallic finishes in their kitchens, Franke has added new brass options to its Eiger and Cotswold tap ranges. The brass Cotswold tap has a height of 300mm, a spout reach of 238mm and is designed to suit low-pressure systems. The Eiger brass tap has a J-spout design, and also incorporates a built-in perlator that aerates the water and creates a stream that minimises splashing and conserves water. www.franke.com

Making use of an under- sink water conditioning unit that integrates into the Blanco UNIT, the water is dispensed with the new CHOICE ICONA kitchen tap, which is available in either brushed stainless steel, satin dark steel, matt black and satin gold finishes. www.blanco.com
