Profile: Founded in January 2000, CRC Polymers (CRC) set out to fill the gap it perceived in the market for a one-stop-shop supplying compounds, concentrates and resins. To accommodate its ongoing growth, the company located all of its operations into a new 5,600m2
facility in 2013. In 2017, it
announced the installation of four new compounding lines, increasing its annual capacity by around 15,800 tonnes. CRC prides itself on meeting its customer’s specific application requirements and provides a complete technical support service.
Product line: CRC Polymers produces a wide range of concentrates/masterbatches including colour and special effect, UV protection, and flame retardant, along with compounds based on both commodity and engineering resins.
Product strengths: One of the flagship products at CRC is Carbelene, a family of mineralised elastomeric compounds offering very good chemical resistance and high impact strength at cold and ambient temperatures. This product line has been a contributing factor in the company’s success.
