DUTCH MUSHROOM WEEK Fancom, stand 53
During the Mushroom Days in Den Bosch, Fancom is going to introduce the new Lumina range of controls. According to the company, ‘the Lumina series characterizes itself by a super easy touch screen operation. The lumina series uses the most modern operation techniques, which makes the intelligent controls of the Fancom climate and watering compu- ters much more easy to manage’. Fancom has climate computers suitable for each phase of the production process, from fermentation to harvest as well as a labour saving watering computer. The Fancom systems are total solutions consis- ting of a control
computer and periphe- ral equipment develo- ped by experts with sound knowledge of the mushroom growing processes.
“Fancom’s unique quality is the combina- tion of process computers and our focus on regulating the total mushroom
MCSubstradd / Havens, stand 3
Mushroom supplement producer MCSubstradd / Havens sponsors ISMS 2016, and will again be represented the trade fair in Den Bosch. Since the last edition, in 2013, MCSubstradd has undergone spectacular growth in sales, according tot Wim Joosten of MCSubstradd: “This growth strengthens our team in the belief that the right ways are being explored; on the one hand the choice of raw material quality, and on the other hand the interaction that we have with many of our relations with respect to compost. Thanks to the accumulation over many years, of NIR database data on compost and the database on raw materials, we can increasingly anticipate the composting process. In this light, our regular MCSubstradd NIR workshops are an appreciated addition. Nevertheless, the belief exist that there are many more possi- bilities with supplements. In addition, among other things, could include impro- ving the efficiency of raw materials or health-promoting substances that are absorbed by the mushrooms. With various research institutes and industry at home and abroad there are several innovative projects. We look forward to these challen- ges with confidence and perseverance.” The team would appreciate your visit in booth 3, where there is also the opportunity to test the operation of the NIR analysis equipment in practice. cultivating process”, says Anja Theeu- wen of Fancom. “The binding link in this process is our FarmManager management software, that convert the data obtained from the process computers into valuable management information. Information that is easily analysed and compared, and leads to knowledge and insight into cultivation results, farm processes, economic consequences and improvement possibilities.”

AEM, stand 25
AEM has been involved in mushroom and compost projects all over the world since 1973, says Chrisitaan Zeegers. During this period AEM was a key pioneer in the business with several innovations such as the first computer systems, standardisation the 4 meter wide phase II / III grid floor tunnels, the 4-way patented air damper and - for smaller projects - the spigot floor tunnel system. During many years AEM delivered and installed mushroom equipment for small and big projects all over the world. AEM is constantly innovating and improving their products with the experience gained during the projects. The most important innovation is the New AEM computer that is being launched at the fair. With the integration of a touch screen panel, the computer is very easy and quickly to operate and provides maximum information at the same time. In the software the latest control options like evaporation control and moister deficit control are included next to some other revolutionary extras such as automatic watering of the mushrooms, energy monitoring and labour registration. With the new AEM computer it is possible to control 1 or 2 growing rooms / compost tunnels. Currently, the AEM R&D department is developing other items such as electronic CO2 measuring per growing room and new watering nozzles with a square spraying pattern that can be integrated in the AEM anodised aluminium shelving.
All new innovations are integrated in the latest projects. With the engineering of mushroom and compost projects in 3D AEM also made a big step forward. 3D engineering is more accurate and gives the customer a better visual impression of the end result.
These latest innovations emphasises the experience and progressive character of AEM. For more information visit AEM on stand 25.
