Italspawn / Hollander Spawn, stand 33
With a consolidated 10% sales growth in 2015 Italspawn is getting ready to close the first quarter of 2016 with a promising 6% increase over the same period of last year and has already embarked on a new project, according to the Italian spawn producer. “Over the last 8 years - says Massimo Sartor, Italspawn CEO and Vice Presi- dent – we have experienced a solid and consistent growth in our sales with 2015 being our best year since the beginning of the new century”. Italspawn is currently undergoing an expansion project, which will include the building of a brand new 500 square meters warehouse, in order to enlarge the cooling storage capacity, and improve the inventory management. Also, as part of the new project on March 1st, 2016, Dr. Luca Cotecchia has joined the company team and is now working on the reorganization of specific parts of the production process as well as the optimization of the depart- ments’ management. “As former Deputy Plant Manager at a competitor’s production facility - says Valentino Sartor, Italspawn Founder and President - Dr. Cotecchia has matured several years of experience in the spawn industry and we are confident he will be a valuable addition to our team.” The Italspawn group, which also includes Champicomp, the 50000 tons per year phase 2 compost farm located in Serbia, will attend the Mushroom Days show in Den Bosch at stand 33, in cooperation with its Dutch partner and distributor Hollander Spawn.
