Far from Heaven Porchlight Music Theatre mounts the Chicago premiere of the 2013 musical drawn from Todd Haynes’s 2002 film, which inserted frank sexuality into a Douglas Sirk–esque 1950s domestic drama. The score is by

Jerusalem Profiles Theatre’s Darrell W. Cox is slated to direct the

Midnight Cowboy Christopher Hainsworth adapts James Leo Herlihy’s 1965 novel about a would- be hustler from Texas on the streets of New York, which inspired the 1969 movie of the same name.
