‘Voices from Inside’ Marks Third Successful Year
Franklin partnered with the Ohio Department of Youth Services (DYS) in October 2014, to present “Voices from Inside.” The event, which marked its third year, is part of the Criminal Justice Speakers Series hosted by Franklin’s College of Health & Public Administration. More than 60 pieces of artwork created by youth in school art classes and on parole were on display and many pieces were sold as part of a silent auction with all proceeds benefitting the Brian Muha Foundation, a nonprofit organization that serves primarily inner-city children. The event was made possible by a grant from the Ohio Arts Council and the Romanoff Group.
