designed and hardwearing flooring developed specifically for the home, the Designatex collection of textile backed luxury sheet vinyl flooring.
The stylish yet practical Designatex vinyl flooring range includes 12 wood effect and 6 stone effect designs to enhance any room in the home. To complement both traditional and modern interiors, the wood collection features a variety of wood species and layouts including three classic parquet designs. These wood designs accurately replicate the warmth, grain detail and natural textures of real wood planks for an authentic finish.
Recreating the tones, textures and natural rock formations of real stone tiles, the Designatex stone collection includes limestone, slate and paving effect designs in three layouts; slim tiles, random tile placement and varied tile widths. Each design has been developed to create an eye-catching abstract effect which would be costly to replicate using stone tiles.
Available in 2, 3 and 4 metre widths to accommodate larger living spaces, UK manufactured Designatex has a 3.0mm gauge and 0.3mm wear layer with SureTread R10 slip resistance to help prevent slips in the home.
The UltraComfort soft textile layer on the underside of Designatex provides warmth and comfort underfoot, whilst
aiding in reducing noise transfer between rooms with a 17dB impact sound reduction. The innovative textile backing helps to mask any minor subfloor unevenness or surface texture whilst being lightweight and easy to handle. Designatex flooring can also be loose laid in most homes, eliminating the need for adhesive and allowing for quicker installations. Its textile backing allows it to be laid over damp subfloors where a Relative Humidity (Rh) of 90% is not exceeded.
With a 15 year domestic guarantee, Designatex features Polyflor’s renowned CleanShield PUR polyurethane reinforcement, which helps prevent stains and scuff marks, allows for a simple polish-free cleaning regime. Designatex is 100% recyclable and also achieves Indoor Air Comfort Gold certification for low VOC emissions, an internationally recognised indoor air quality standard.
