SPORICIDE PLUS DIVERSEY CARE

Sporicide Plus is a unique ready-to-use liquid surface disinfectant from Diversey Care with outstanding bactericidal, yeasticidal, fungicidal, virucidal and sporicidal performance. It is effective against Clostridium Difficile within one minute, which helps meet demand for highly effective products with shorter contact or dwell times.

The innovative formulation incorporates patented Accelerated Hydrogen Peroxide (AHP) technology. The active AHP ingredient degrades to oxygen and water shortly after use, which means the product is safer than chlorine-based products, which have been suspected of aggravating asthma and forming chlorine compounds in the atmosphere.

Sporicide Plus is less obtrusive during use which helps make it better suited to areas where patients, visitors or staff are present. The formulation is also less corrosive than chlorine products which means it can be used on a wider range of washable surfaces. The product is simply applied and wiped away. It is also ideal for applications such as the removal of blood and body fluid spills.

Sporicide Plus’ broad spectrum efficacy has been tested to the latest EN standards by HYCGEN and MikroLab GmbH. Tests passed include EN14476 (virucidal, 30s contact), EN1276 (bactericidal, 30s contact), and EN13697 (yeasticidal, 30s contact). These demonstrated rapid disinfection performance without the need for re-application.

TYVEK 800 J COVERALL DUPONT

DuPont’s Tyvek® 800 J coverall, based on the barrier performance of Tyvek®, uses proprietary technology to combine oil repellency and durable protection against pressurised jets of liquids and water-based chemicals with fabric breathability – an innovation in Type 3 (liquid tight) protection.

All of DuPont’s Tyvek® made products form an excellent barrier against fine particles and fibres as well as a range of water-based liquids and aerosols. Using technology specific to the Tyvek® 800 J garment, its barrier performance has been enhanced to achieve Category III, Type 3 liquid tight protection (jet) as well as oil repellency.

The coverall, whilst limited-use, is both tough and robust and permeable to both air and water vapour for greater wearer comfort. It meets the requirements for protection against biological hazards (EN 14126), protection against radioactive contamination (EN 1073-2) and protection against electrostatic discharge (antistatic according to EN 1149-5).

The design of the Tyvek® 800 J coverall is optimised to achieve a close fit, without inhibiting movement. Design features of the garment include a chin flap for increased liquid protection and a closer fit when wearing full-face masks, thumb loops to prevent the sleeves from riding up, elasticated openings and distinct orange taping of the garment seams for protection and worker visibility.
