liVe VieW FSI
Live View from FSI is a graphical display of Task, Booking, Asset and Stock data in relation to locations.
As a natural extension of FSI’s Visual Booking interactive room and hot desk module, and part of FSI’s Concept Evolution suite of CAFM solutions, Live View taps into the popularity of a dashboard interface.
These tools provide a powerful graphical representation of headline data and allows users to drill down to the information that enables them to make fast, accurate decisions.
Live View can be accessed easily from multiple points - a display screen in the Help Desk call centre, for example, or the organisation’s home page. And with its rich toolkit, it can be customised to suit the needs of FM providers, contractors and clients.
Maximum and minimum values can be easily applied to tasks, based on KPIs. So while many users will like the de facto setting of floor plans, the module can also be configured schematically, with the data being mapped to diagrams - giving an overview of all meeting rooms across different offices, for example, or a portfolio of contracts that cover a large geographical area.
Live View uses numerical values and colour codes that can be configured to act like traffic lights, showing hot spots or areas of potential concern. By displaying maximum, minimum and average values, the module can identify anything from over-subscribed or under-used rooms to imminent SLA breaches or potential overlaps between Help Desk tasks, and an infinite range of costs, quantities and priorities related to specific tasks, assets and stock.

loKKiT 6 Martindale Electric
Martindale Electric has added a new range of professional electrical locking-off devices and kits for miniature circuit breakers and fuse holders.
The new lockouts, provide simple and reliable solutions to ensure circuits have been de-energised and properly isolated prior to maintenance and modifications of plant and equipment, in accordance with HSG85, the Electricity at Work Regulations.
The new LOKKIT6 includes everything needed to lock off and label Red Spot or similar fuse holders, as part of a safe isolation procedure. The kit includes the LOK6 universal fuse carrier lock off, a TAG4 warning tag and marker pen, plus a PAD10R padlock. The LOK6 is designed to restrict finger access to live contacts and prevent the reinsertion of a fuse whilst maintenance is in progress. It’s easily adjustable to fit fuse holders from 20A to 100A, providing a ‘’one size fits all solution’’ that’s always to hand.
Locking off the circuit correctly is just one part of the procedure. Before carrying out any work on the circuit, it’s essential to verify that the circuit is definitely dead before proceeding. This requires a dedicated voltage indicator and a proving unit. To simplify the whole safe isolation process, Martindale Electric has released a safe isolation video and VIPDLOK kits, which include everything needed to implement an effective procedure, stay safe and ensure compliance with the Electricity at Work Regulations.
