COMPLEX SOLUTIONS FOR IMPROVED EFFICIENCIES

The Survisor software solution to facilities data management provides improved

efficiencies for mapping buildings and asset infrastructure, facilities maintenance reporting and complete health and safety compliance.

In order to increase operational efficiencies, facilities managers require improved technology to enable them to manage a complex property portfolio with ease. One of the key factors to the successful management of a mixed range of buildings is the storage and management of the data and information pertaining to each. The accessibility of this data is one of the core contributors to successful building management and subsequently, the smooth delivery of FM services.

The Survisor building management system (BMS) is a computer- based control system used to map complete building systems in order to control and monitor the building’s data relating to its’ systems and equipment such as ventilation, lighting, fire systems, security and health and safety systems.

The FM system is image-driven, portable building data management system, which provides users with an instant overview of specific data relating to the condition of their buildings and facilities. The data managed within the Survisor system will revolutionise the way buildings, plant and facilities are managed.

The state of the art, portable data capture and retrieval system is used to audit and map complete buildings and the assets and safety systems within. Using visual navigation and the latest touch-screen technology, data is mapped out using interactive floor survey plans that deliver a set of complex data about any number of building assets and services for health and safety checking and reporting, building maintenance or any other requirements.

accurate and on-time data for maintenance, inspections and replacement planning.

Survisor eliminates the need for locating and carrying out lengthy analyses of historical building condition surveys; it reduces the time required for assessment and reporting and significantly improves the visibility of the condition of the building assets in real time. The Team have worked in consultation with Facilities Management professionals and Building Engineers at major organisations, and have acknowledged the need to make data management easier, more accurate and intuitive.

The intuitive touchscreen technology is the culmination of years of development, working closely with architects, surveyors, buildings managers and IT experts, to design the best possible solution for retrieving accurate information about building stock and mission-critical assets, on demand. The system is designed to manage any buildings’ data and become an essential partner in the drive to keep on top of maintenance checks, as the system can provide: alerts when checks are due; reports showing frequency of faults in specific areas, and even costing schedules for planning maintenance work in the future.

The information navigation provides:

• A solution for real-time condition monitoring.

• Diagnostic capability for scheduling checks to specific critical areas.

• An audit trail. • A more comprehensive picture of building stock.

• A fool-proof system providing

The team can help Facilities Managers make the right decisions by prioritising and organising maintenance schedules from areas of immediate concern, needing attention, to planning for future expansion and offer a complete interactive picture of the condition of a building’s stock and assets, enabling efficient management and navigation through the complex process of asset management.

The data forms the basis of the system and as well as navigating the database visually you can ‘query’ the information held. Ask the system to provide a report of all the areas in need of urgent repair, print a contact sheet of all of the best condition office spaces, or give a breakdown of window replacement costs. Almost any criteria can be compiled automatically in a report at the touch of the screen.

In addition, cloud-based data management means instant data access; to prevent data loss; and to channel critical information directly to those who need it when they need it.
