Uzin introduces the improved UZIN L3 Gold Moisture Control System, with no need to first apply a DPM, it couldn’t be simpler or quicker to prime level and install.
UZIN has long been known for pioneering new and exciting products to help support flooring contractors on job sites across the country. Continuing to act as an innovator of high quality yet affordable products UZIN has improved UZIN L3 Gold Moisture Control System which is now suitable for use in areas of high moisture, up to 95% RH.
When installing flooring in areas where moisture can be a problem, contractors no longer have to apply a damp proof membrane to the floor, then prime and then install the levelling compound. With the exceptionally simple UZIN L3 Gold Moisture Control System, fitters just have to follow three uncomplicated steps. Prime the floor, mix and apply the bag & bottle levelling compound and finally apply the adhesive. The job can be done in only 4 to 5 hours.
SIMPLY FOLLOW THESE 3 STEPS:
Step 1. Prime Shake the container thoroughly. Apply a coat of UZIN L3 Gold System primer using a foam roller and allow it to dry for one hour. If the area is above 90% RH apply a second coat of primer and allow to dry for an hour.
Step 2. Level
Mix the bag and bottle components UZIN L3 Gold Powder and the new UZIN L3 Gold Moisture Control liquid, before installing the levelling compound. Once the product is fully mixed it can be applied over the floor using a steel trowel or screed rake at depths from 3mm to 5mm. The UZIN L3 Gold Moisture Control levelling compound is ready to accept most floor coverings within two hours.
Step 3. Install Choose a suitable adhesive for installing the floorcovering such as UZIN KE 2428 for carpets, PVC, vinyl or lino. Apply it evenly onto the substrate using a suitable notched trowel. Install the covering, rub down over the whole area and after approximately 20 minutes, rub down again or roll. UZIN KE 2428 is fitter-friendly with excellent grab performance and is cost effective with a great coverage of up to 56m².
Complete This exceptionally simple and easy use system means installing can be completed in one day. The rapid system is not only extremely affordable when compared to the traditional system at price per square metre but also saves time and money on labour costs.
Due to increasing regulation regarding duty of care and allergies to latex, the UZIN L3 Gold Moisture Control system is also ideal for use in sensitive environments such as hospitals because the UZIN L3 Gold products are ammonia and latex free. It is easy to sand down, flows exceptionally and has a high compressive strength of 25 N.

liquid components are contained within recyclable packaging. The new packaging means:
• 77% less CO2 – The cube packaging
allows much more efficient method of transporting as more weight and units can be put on a pallet. Transportation is therefore reduced and less CO2
discharged. The
production of the boxes is also much more energy efficient.
• 85% less waste - Only the liner is made from plastic, which can be returned and disposed of. The box is made from recycled cardboard, which can be recycled. This also saves floor contractors the hassle of disposing large amounts of plastic containers.
