For those care providers keen to help their residents enjoy the summer sun, here’s some travel advice for planning a care group’s trip away. The Jumbulance Trust’s Robin Cattle tells us more.


It’s the middle of the British summertime and a good holiday is on everyone’s mind. Whether you’re taking a few days or a couple of weeks, a holiday is a great way to blow away the cobwebs and return refreshed and rejuvenated, with fabulous memories.


But, it isn’t always this simple when travelling with care groups, as everyone’s specific needs must be taken into account.

available and more accessibility provisions in place than ever before. This means we have more destinations available that, on a practical level, provide what is needed.


With more on offer that caters to a care groups varying needs providers can make their decision based on the interests, like and dislikes of the residents. If providers are unsure about the accessibility and practicality of the chosen destination it is important to get in touch with the facility and find out how well
