TOUCH OF LUXURY Lano
The Touch of Luxury collection from Lano celebrates the diversity of the manufacturer’s premium residential styles with SmartStrand, polyamide, bamboo and wool carpets that define elegance and luxurious living.
Including Lano’s most exquisite 100% pure new wool qualities in Mayfair Velvet and Mayfair Velvet Supreme, Oasis and Mirage, Touch of Luxury proves that wool has a place alongside the current fashion for super-soft yarns and contemporary silk effects.
Birger Karlsson, Sales Director UK at Lano, said: “Wool is undoubtedly still the consumer’s favoured pick with industry campaigns refocusing the attention on this natural fibre.
“That’s why it forms a mainstay in the Touch of Luxury collection, a desirable and sought after classic carpeting choice that endures through fads and fashion and always remains timelessly elegant.”
The collection features a dense and luxurious velvet with Mayfair Velvet (1365g/m2 Supreme (1890g/m2
) and Mayfair Velvet ) as well as two stylish loop piles in Oasis and Mirage. With 58 different pure wool
options across a spectrum of beautifully rich hues and inviting textures, there is no doubting that Touch of Luxury harnesses something for every wool connoisseur.
“With the options in Touch of Luxury, these delightful tones are brought together in exquisite qualities and the enduring appeal of natural pure new wool,” continued Birger.
All Touch of Luxury carpets are also available as a bespoke rug with two different edging options in the turned edges of Pure and the narrow ribbon of Elegance.

TRANSFORMATION Interface
Transformation, which was first launched to market in 2003, is designed for busy office and education environments. The nature-inspired range - one of the first to feature random design - can be installed non- directionally, which reduces waste and allows greater design flexibility.
The concept of random design is inspired by the randomness of nature. It is thought that this diversity produces the greatest amount of activity in the brain, and as a result delivers the most stimulation.
In June 2015, Transformation was updated to offer an even greater range of design possibilities inspired by global colour and design trends. The updated carpet tile reflects the popularity of weave constructions in the carpet industry, as well as the trends in fabric patterns to incorporate blurred and broken lines. It can be specified in 24 colourways including a broad selection of greys, blues and neutral hues.
Karen Warner, UK & Ireland Marketing Director, said: “Influenced by the world around us, Transformation is one of Interface’s best-selling products.
“It’s designed to be fitted in a non-directional pattern which means it has the potential to reduce wastage during installation by more than 10 per cent. The modular installation of Transformation also means that individual tiles can be changed if necessary, rather than replacing the whole floor.”
In line with Interface’s Mission Zero pledge to eliminate any negative impact it has on the environment by 2020, Transformation contains around 45% recycled content and received type III Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), which is based on an independent audit which measures the environmental impact of a product or service.
