TASKI IntelliTrail is an intelligent floorcare management system from Diversey Care that allows managers to remotely monitor machines and processes. It combines smart technology, GPS tracking and web applications to provide real-time visibility of mission-critical information that helps managers to reduce fleet, cleaning and administrative costs by up to 25%.
IntelliTrail can be installed on the majority of battery-powered machines in the TASKI range and compatible machines from other manufacturers. A device is mounted on the designated equipment and contains a SIM card and hardware to record and transmit data.
Users can access a wide range of key performance indicators including geographical position, areas/ floor-types cleaned, total operating hours, average working hours, under- and over-utilisation, number of accidents, and battery charge levels. This information is accessed in real-time over the Internet of Clean, Diversey Care’s cloud-based cleaning information platform.
TASKI IntelliTrail gives fleet operators new levels of real-time control, analysis and insight of floorcare performance to help reduce total cost of ownership and enhance quality of service. Identifying under- and over-utilisation, for example, allows managers to redeploy machines to make better use of resources and maintain service levels. IntelliTrail identifies when machines have been used outside of designated areas or beyond contractually-agreed parameters. It also allows managers to ensure correct cleaning frequency for specific areas and types of floor.
Automated alerts for events such as on-board diagnostic warnings enable managers to respond quickly with appropriate actions, often before issues impact on machine availability and customers become aware of them.

TOPCEM Mapei
Mapei’s Topcem is a rapid-drying special hydraulic binder which is a cement replacement and mixed with graded aggregates and water. Mapei Topcem can be foot trafficked within 12 hours, is suitable for the installation of ceramic tiles after only 24 hours, stone after two days and resilient floorcoverings and wood after just four days, irrespective of the screed’s thickness.
Screed containing Mapei Topcem, available in 20kg bags, can be installed as a bonded, un-bonded or floating screed and is suitable for use with under-floor heating. It can also be installed thinner than conventional screeds. For bonded screeds ensure excessive moisture is not present within the substrate, contact Mapei’s technical services department for further advice.
Topcem has provided a fast-track solution on a wide range of projects, including sports venues such as Wimbledon Centre Court Hospitality Areas, Heathrow and Gatwick airports, and commercial buildings as well as a wide number of hospitals and schools nationwide.
Where space and access are an issue, Mapei’s Topcem Pronto, available in 25kg bags, is a “just add water” alternative which can eliminate storing bulky sand and aggregates near to sites such as shopping centres. Contractors can simply bring to site the amount of Topcem Pronto which will be used in one day and take any surplus away on a daily basis. Topcem Pronto is also accredited with GEV Emicode EC1R certification for low emissions of VOC as all of the aggregates used are sourced internally and controlled by Mapei.
