POLYX-OIL Osmo
The original hardwax-oil, Osmo Polyx-Oil is a premium wood finish that guarantees to keep wooden surfaces in top condition. Developed from natural oils and waxes, the product provides hardwearing and durable protection, preventing cracking, peeling, flaking or blistering. With a microporous surface, Osmo Polyx-Oil allows the wood to breathe and reduces swelling and shrinkage.
Developed to protect and enhance the wood’s natural beauty, Polyx-Oil is a clear, non-pigmented finish which seals and accentuates the wood’s grain and natural characteristics whilst providing a warm and rich effect. Suitable to use on all interior timber, domestic hardwood and softwoods, Osmo Polyx-Oil remains the first choice of many flooring contractors.
In comparison to conventional finishes, the product eradicates the need for a primer or intermediate sanding prior to application – saving both time and money. If properly maintained, the finish can last indefinitely.
Due to the products environmentally friendly ingredients, when dry, the finish is safe for humans, animals and plants and is suitable for children‘s toys as per EN 71.3 (European norm) and is saliva-resistant and sweat proof according to DIN 53160 (German industrial norm).
Building on the success of Polyx-Oil, Osmo has developed a full range to suit different aesthetic looks, including Glossy 3011, Satin 3032, Semi-Matt 3065 and Matt 3062. All products within the range are manufactured from the same natural ingredients.

PRO 30 FAST TRACK ECO LEVELLING COMPOUND Norcros Adhesives
Norcros Adhesives has launched its most environmentally-friendly product yet – Pro 30 Fast Track Eco Levelling Compound which is made from recycled crushed glass, rather than quarried sand.
It is the latest example of how the company’s new product innovation is led by a commitment continually to reduce the environmental impact of its operations. Norcros has full ISO14001 accreditation for its work to reduce waste and improve resource efficiency. In fact none of the company’s waste now goes into landfill.
Norcros Pro 30 Fast Track Eco Levelling Compound is a flexible, single-part leveller that’s suitable for use from 2mm to 30mm in a single application, without the need for additional aggregate. It is ready to tile after just 45 minutes, and can receive impervious floor coverings after 90 minutes, allowing early foot traffic and fast-track tile fixing.
The product is suitable for levelling a variety of substrates, including, concrete, cement:sand screed, flooring- grade asphalt, existing quarry and vinyl tiles.
Pro 30 Fast Track Eco is also ideal for encapsulating under-tile heating mats and cables, protecting the heating elements during the tile-fixing process as well as providing a level surface for tiling. It is suitable for use on timber floors which have been overlaid with 15-18mm WBP or marine-grade plywood. The product comes in a 20kg pack.
