This month’s cover stars are Maidaid Halcyon - supplier of high quality catering equipment including glasswashers, dishwashers, utensil/potwashers, icemakers and espresso coffee machines.
We catch up with Sales Director Julian Lambert and find out what keeps them at the forefront of catering technology.

What makes you guys different to others supplying similar kit?...
In 2017 after several years of sustained growth, Maidaid Halcyon recognised the need to expand our warehouse storage facilities, enabling us to keep up with increased customer demand by ensuring we are able to carry sufficient stock across Maidaid Halcyon’s comprehensive warewashing & ice machine range.
The warehouse expansion enables us to achieve our main aim of supplying machines from stock for next day delivery with the only exception being bespoke rack & flight machines. With the additional space we can now stock our New Evolution Minirack models. Commitment to exceptional stock levels held in our Brackley warehouse which has enabled the company to achieve a 99.7 % success rate in delivering machines on the customers preferred date. In response to current expectations 66% of machines are delivered by the next working day.
With both a dedicated independent service company and spare parts supplier Maidaid Halcyon are able to support venues throughout the lifetime of any Maidaid machine. Product development has enabled Maidaid to supply economically friendly machines resulting in improved energy saving & water consumption through our whole range. All of this is back up by the recent industry awards we have won.
How would a buyer know which product to run with if they are looking to update their warewashing, ice making machines etc? Your sales and training days would be a great help right?...
Maidaids’ Award winning training is aimed to equip our approved distributors network with all the information they need to specify the perfect Maidaid machine for any particular venue. Couple this with the FREE site surveys Maidaid offer mean our users have full confidence that the machine being supplied will be correct for their required usage.
