Partners And Communities Together (PACT)

While this is not a high crime area, crime and anti-social behaviour have fi gured very strongly in surveys about issues concerning local residents.

PACT gives Upton and Lytchett Minster residents the chance to tell the police and town councillors about the safety and crime issues causing concern within the community. This process helps determine priorities for action for the police and council.

Meetings are held every two months between the PACT panel and neighbourhood police, and members of the public are welcome to attend and participate in these meetings.

People can report concerns either direct to the police or to PACT Chairman, Stephen Link (Stephen.link99@hotmail.co.uk).

Problems reported in recent weeks include: • excessive speeds on local roads • inconsiderate parking • doorstep/telephone/online scams • break-ins/theft of tools from vehicles/sheds/garages

Next meeting: 7pm, Wednesday 17th May, Church Lounge, Upton Community Centre, Poole Road.

To advertise, please contact 01202 657317 or email karen@broadstonelink.co.uk
