Camp Horizon – Summer Day Camp for Individuals with Disabilities Join us at Camp Horizon 2017 for our Summer Career Fair to discover new and exciting careers. We will have special visitors come and share their experiences about their career. Campers will have the opportunity to ask questions to all of our special visitors and participate in hands-on activities. Career theme weeks include, but are not limited to; doctors & nurses, emergency medical personnel, pilots, and many more! In addition to the Summer Career Fair, campers will create summertime snacks, participate in wacky experiments, swim at the William Grady Pool, visit park district sports courts and fields, and enjoy weekly field trips/special events. Mark summer 2017 on your calendars because you will not want to miss out on Camp Horizon’s 2017 Career Fair! Returning Campers: You should have received your packets in the mail late March/early April. If you have not received a packet, please contact Breanne Lindsay. New Campers: Please contact Breanne Lindsay for more information on how to register. **Some pick up locations may vary. You will receive more information during
the mandatory parent meeting on on 5/24 from 5 – 7pm. **No Camp on 5/29 & 7/4. (BL) Option 1: Full Time (M-F) Fee: $130.00/week*

Dates Northlands Association for Special Recreation (NASR) is a cooperative
partnership between the Belvidere, Freeport, and Rockford Park Districts (referred to as member district). NASR Programs are open to any individual with disability-related special needs such as physical, mental, and developmental disabilities and persons with mental illness, behavior disorders, visual or hearing impairments. New member district residents are invited to participate in specialty/therapeutic (TR) programs offered through any member district at the resident rate. For participation in inclusion services at a member district other than your own, you must pay the non-resident rate for that specific program.
