Lil’ Swingers (Ages 3 – 4) “Play Ball!” What a great way to introduce your child to the sport of baseball. Players are taught the basics of the game – throwing, catching, batting and rules. Players will hit off a tee to ensure success. “Incrediballs” will be used to ensure safety. A baseball glove is required. Players will receive a t-shirt. Tursdays will be used for rain dates! T-Ball / Coach Pitch (Ages 5 – 6) “Batter Up!” “Let’s Play Some Ball! Players will learn to throw, catch, hit, field, run bases, and most importantly learn how to play with teammates. Basic rules of the game will also be learned. In addition to batting off a tee, the coach–pitch program will be introduced, where the coach will pitch to the participants using a slow overhand/underhand style. Activities will include skill practices and modified games. Emphasis is on fun and learning. A baseball glove is required. Each participant will receive a t-shirt. Bantam Baseball (Ages 7 – 9) “Going, Going, Gone! Home Run!” Tis program is designed to simulate game play while providing a positive instructional environment. Te Park District will select teams and volunteer coaches will be used. Emphasis is on fun and participation. Every child will bat and play a variety of positions in the field. Space is limited so register early. Each participant will receive a t-shirt and a baseball hat. A baseball glove is required and an “Incrediball” will be
