AUSTRALIA & NEW ZEALAND | Sydney to Auckland

Your journey

Day 8 Hobart, Australia. Tasmania’s waterfront capital is enchanting and on your included guided tour you can stroll along its historic streets, and enjoy time to explore independently. Alternatively, take an optional trip to UNESCO-listed Port Arthur where you are reminded of Australia’s colonial past. First a timber camp, then from 1830 to 1877, a penal colony, the heritage centre now houses a museum that charts Hobart’s convict history.

Approx. 9 hours in port

Days 9-10 Cruise the Tasman Sea and Foveaux Strait. As you sail the Tasman Sea to New Zealand’s South Island you have plenty of time to relax on board. Treat yourself to a massage in The Spa. Enjoy afternoon tea in The Wintergarden. Take in a show at the theatre, or take to the dance floor at Torshavn nightclub.

Day 11 Dunedin, New Zealand. The ‘Edinburgh of the South’, Dunedin’s Scottish heritage is visible all around this historic city – the city even has its own tartan. Your included panoramic tour takes in the charming weatherboard houses and smart Victorian buildings and the Octogan, the eight-sided plaza overlooked by Dunedin Town Hall. An optional cruise along the Otago Peninsula is a wonderful introduction to New Zealand’s stunning scenery and wild animals, including penguins and fur seals. Approx. 11 hours in port
