Day 10 Copenhagen, Denmark. The pretty harbourside city that inspired Hans Christian Andersen is still enchanting visitors today. Brightly-coloured pastel houses, the sumptuous Rococo Amalienborg Palace, the ornate Rosenborg Castle, cosmopolitan boutiques, and Michelin-starred restaurants all add up to a feast of wonders. Day 11 Ålborg, Denmark. Straddling both sides of the beautiful Limfjord Sound, the Danish town of Ålborg was founded by the Vikings in the late 900s. Your included walking tour is a walk through time – from the 17th-century Jens Bang’s House to the pretty Budolfi Cathedral. Take an optional tour to the coastal villages of Skagen and Grenen, or visit the local bars to sample some Danish beers.

Day 12 Stavanger, Norway. Step off your ship and you’re in the heart of this picture-perfect town, one of Norway’s most loved destinations. Its pretty harbour is lined with historic timber buildings.
