Shae takes top sports award 2017

Year 10 pupil, Shae, was crowned Sports Person of the Year at the 2017 Sibford School sports awards, which took place on 24 March at the Ettington Chase Hotel in Stratford-upon- Avon.

Sibford Sevens an outstanding success

Rugby players from 33 different schools descended on Sibford School in March for the annual Sibford Rugby Sevens Festival. Now in its 19th year, the festival took place over two weeks and saw more than 280 games played.

All matches were officiated by members of the Northampton Saints Community team and the festival also included the Oxfordshire area final of

the 2017 Elite Insurance Schools Rugby Sevens Series. PE Teacher Richard Ferley said: “It was a fabulous five days and I’m really grateful to all the schools who took part and to the team from Saints who helped to make it the success it was. “Congratulations to all of the Sibford boys and girls who played some excellent rugby against some very strong competition.”
