Team members did not let that get them down, and the following day they won a nail-biter against No. 1-ranked Texas A&M. The meet, held at Las Cruces, NM, resulted in tied 7-7 scores but New Mexico won on raw score, 1201.25 to 1052.25. NMSU team member Remington Wilkie earned MVP for equitation, while her teammate Madison Brayman took the Equitation over Fences MVP.
Texas Buckskin HAhosted its 2016 awards banquet on January
29, at Texas AgriLife Office, San Marcos. ABRA HP champions in- cluded Reagan Loxton (Y-In-Hand, Y-Perf, & Open-Perf) and Katy Pruitt (Am-Perf). All-Breed HP champions were Judy Poston (Cham- pion-of-Champions-Halter), Kamree David (WT 12&U In Hand), Presley Crouch (WT-12&U-Perf), Dana Gomez (19&O-In Hand, 19&O-Perf), Amy Hutchins (19&O-Speed), Charity Harris (18&U- In-Hand & 18&U-Perf), and Carie Kahanek (19&O-In Hand, 19&O- Perf, & 19&O-Speed).

So, my daughter and I use her as a back- up jackpot horse and at Paint events.” Misty Schick, Oologah, OK, and Hawks Smoken Legacy, were 3D champions, and Mary Luton, Collinsville, OK, earned the 4D win.
Fort Worth Livestock Show’s PHBA show, held February 2 -

Carson Click earned the youth scholarship as well as the Boyd Wilshire Youth HP Award, and Bailey McDaniel took the reserve youth scholarship.
