Fancy-Free Holidays Trip The Ark Encounter & Creation Museum Cincinnati, OH
DAY 1 - We drive through Indiana and make our way to Cincinnati for a 2-night stay. Dinner is included this evening.
DAY 2 - We will experience 2 exciting attractions as we visit the Creation Museum and the new Ark Encounter. At the 60,000 sq. ft. Creation Museum, we will take a journey through numerous exhibits and a visual presentation of the history of the earth’s creation. Then it’s a short drive to the Ark Encounter, Kentucky’s newest attraction. This massive full size replica of Noah’s Ark is the largest wood timber structure in the world. It is 7 stories high and stretches more than a football field in length. It includes hundreds of interesting displays including Noah’s study, living quarters, exhibits and props recreating how Noah and his family may have lived. There are life-like animals recreated from Noah’s day and many live animals from today. We then make our way back to Cincinnati for our included dinner.
DAY 3 - After our included breakfast, we step back in time with a stop in Metamora, IN. We board the Ben Franklin III for a leisurely canal boat ride through the only existing aquaduct in the U.S. We have time to visit the shops, historical sites and have lunch on our own in town. We then will continue our way home arriving early this evening.
