Project ENTHUSE www.stem.org.uk/bursaries

Project ENTHUSE is a funding partnership that allows the provision of subject specific Continuing Professional Development for teachers, technicians and other support staff at the National STEM Learning Centre in York and through partners in Northern Ireland (Department of Education Northern Ireland), Scotland (SSERC) and Wales (Techniquest).

STEM Insight:

Insight into Industry www.stem.org.uk/stem-insight

Insight into Industry is a new joint initiative between industry, the IET, the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, Project ENTHUSE and the National Science Learning Centre, amongst others. It gives science, mathematics, design and technology and computing teachers an authentic, one or two week experience of what takes place in modern engineering and manufacturing organisations.

Help your students to understand how your subject links to engineering and the diverse range of rewarding careers opportunities available at all levels, not just for engineers and technicians. This is a fantastic opportunity to enhance your knowledge of modern industry, enabling you to provide effective careers information for your students.

STEM Insight also offers the Insight into University scheme where you can spend a week in a university placement to see what life is like for STEM undergraduates and academics. This experience will help you discover the latest skills required for undergraduate study and support the transition from school to university.
