IET Engineering Horizons Bursary


A number of bursaries worth up to £4,000 are available to individuals following a vocational route into engineering as an apprentice or undergraduate student.


The bursaries are for apprentices or students who have followed a vocational route into engineering e.g. BTEC, HNC, HND, Access to Higher Education Diploma and similar qualifications.


Eligibility


 Apprentices starting or in first year of an IET Approved Apprenticeship scheme.


 Students starting or in first year of an IET Accredited undergraduate degree.


 Not in receipt of any other IET scholarship or grant. Students who are already in receipt of, or who are eligible for, an IET Diamond Jubilee Scholarship are not eligible for the bursary.


 Successful candidates will act as ambassadors for the IET and the engineering profession.
