Financial help for students


The IET is keen to encourage more people to gain the skills needed to become our future engineers


We provide numerous financial scholarships and support from industry partners through the various stages of education.


Arkwright Engineering Scholarships www.arkwright.org.uk


Students who are going to be studying for an AS/A2, IB or Higher/Advanced Higher level in STEM subjects at a school which is affiliated with Arkwright may apply for a scholarship.


Funded by industry, academia, professional institutions (including the IET) and private donations, 400 Arkwright Engineering Scholarships are awarded each year. Each scholarship provides £300.00 for the student and £200.00 for the school per year for the two years of their course.
