AN ISLAND PARADISE
An elongated oval of just 41 by 14 kilometres, Tobago manages a surprising diversity. Rich in natural allure – deserted palm-lined beaches, glowing coral reefs and a wealth of lush rainforest – the island offers something for every taste. Tobago’s greatest appeal, however, is that it’s a place where locals and tourists co-exist, with everyone frequenting the same beaches, bars and nightclubs.
Tobago is breathtakingly beautiful: beaches are pristine and the landscape is left largely to its own devices. The fl at coral and limestone plateau of the southwest tip has fantastic white-sand beaches such as Pigeon Point and Store Bay, while the Caribbean coast boasts a string of spectacular shorelines, from Castara to picturesque Englishman’s Bay, as well as rugged swathes of sand where hotels run excursions to watch giant turtles laying their eggs.
Top Tobago Experiences 1. Endless watersports – from snorkelling, kite-surfi ng, wind-surfi ng to stand-up paddle boarding! Top watersport locations include Pigeon Point, Mount Irvine, Englishman’s Bay, and for diving enthusiasts, Speyside is a great spot.

3. Tobago Forest Reserve Walk – the main ridge rainforest trail is a birdwatchers paradise early in the morning with colourful motmot birds and hummingbirds, as well as fascinating leafcutter ants at ground level.
