Q. What are the big product focuses for you? A. We’ve really focused on improving the overall customer experience. LJLA is recognised for its relaxed, hassle-free environment and best-in-class operational performance and these USPs mean it is the ‘Faster, Easier, Friendlier’ airport of choice for passengers from across the region. As well as expanding
routes and airlines over the past year, we have been
committed to further improving passenger
facilities to enhance the customer
experience. We have invested about £2.5 million on areas in the terminal that customers said needed improving. This commitment to strive for an even better customer experience by working closely with customers is now paying off and the latest feedback shows that passengers are now happier than ever with their journey through the airport. With more improvements coming up, customer ratings are set to become even higher over the next few months.
Q. What are you doing to help your travel agent partners? A. We have a trade link on our website and a Facebook page that allows us to
communicate with our trade partners. We offer everything from incentives to training days with our key suppliers, as well as keeping everyone updated with new routes and commercial developments. It’s also great in terms of the trade having a way to communicate with us. We are always implementing ideas from the trade.
Q. What tune will you be listening out for during the fantastic after-party? A. Justin Timberlake’s Can’t Stop the Feeling because it reminds me of the Global conference in Dubai. I sense a little reunion on the dancefloor!
Q. What would be your message to a travel agent gearing up to attend the Northern Ball for the first time? A. It was my first time last year and the advice given to me was to hold on to your hat! I was told it gets very excitable, to say the least. Now this is my second year, I would say that was an understatement. Prepare to have the best night!
