Norwegian unveils £135 one-way fare to Boston
Norwegian is offering £135 one-way fares from Gatwick to Boston from February 2017. The cut-price rate is the carrier’s lowest-ever across the Atlantic. Boston became the carrier’s sixth US destination from Gatwick in March, with four flights a week.

Wow Air to fly to New York from Gatwick and Bristol
Low-cost carrier Wow Air is to launch a service to New York from Gatwick and Bristol via Reykjavik, with one-way fares from £119. The daily, year-round service to New York Newark airport will start on November 25.

United Airlines is adding flights from Heathrow to the US West Coast but cutting frequency to Houston.
The carrier is adding a second
daily year-round San Francisco service from October 30 followed by a second daily Los Angeles flight from April 5, 2017. United will reduce the number
of daily non-stop flights to Houston from three to two from October 30. However, both Houston services
will be operated by a Boeing 777-200, a bigger aircraft than the 767-300s and 787s currently used.
The new San Francisco service
will be flown by 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft with 219 seats – 36 flatbed seats in BusinessFirst and 183 in Economy, including 70 Economy Plus seats with added legroom and increased personal space. It will depart Heathrow at 11.40,
