WELCOME W
elcome to The Vinoy® Renaissance Resort & Golf Club. Since opening in 1925, we have curated enriching and authentic experiences that have
attracted families, celebrities, and most importantly, you.
Steeped in glamour, this historic property features classic architectural elements from the original building, seamlessly blended with modern design and all the comforts of today. The 90-year old lobby features a sea of turquoise and gilded elements, our island golf course is accented with German
sculpture and Moorish architecture; and a one-of-a-kind Chihuly chandelier graces the center of our Grand Ballroom.
Ever looking forward to our grand future, the resort is currently in the midst of a multi-phase, two-year renovation project. Upcoming changes include enhancements to the resort’s amenities, including the spa, fitness center, tennis courts and dining facilities. A new Paul's Landing on the Esplanade deck will offer casual dining with both indoor and outdoor seating and spectacular views of Tampa Bay. For guests seeking a more calming retreat than a culinary one, the new 9,000 square foot spa facility, arriving in early 2018, will boast water features and lush tranquility gardens, updated treatment and relaxation rooms and ideal accommodations for private parties.
Along with these touches of history and glamour – one of the most impressive aspects of our resort is the location. Many locals say The Vinoy is the heart of the downtown area, with an ideal location right on the bay within walking distance to numerous landmarks and attractions. Discover a new artist at a neighboring concert hall or theatre, take in a new exhibit at one of the amazing museums nearby or stroll in the shade under towering banyan trees at one of the city’s most beautiful parks. If you want to dig deeper, our Vinoy Navigators are always available for advice on where to find your new cherished shoreline, restaurant, or local neighborhood treasure.
On property, one can enjoy walking through our Tea Garden, delight in a gallery of unique art installations, ponder our history on a tour with the resort historian, experience our nightly beverage ritual or revel in the intrigue of a hidden speakeasy.
Flip through this volume to learn a little more about our resort and why we are so proud to call this vibrant place home. Then get out there, explore, and add yourself to the history and legacy of The Vinoy by tagging us on social media at #VinoyRen.
Prepare to discover the real St. Petersburg while immersing yourself in true, vintage lavishness. Prepare to discover The Vinoy® Renaissance Resort & Golf Club.
Sincerely,
