Kaiser Permanente Santa Rosa Medical Center Contributes $100,000 Matching Gift to SRJC 100th Anniversary Campaign
Santa Rosa, CA. ~ Kaiser Perma- nente Santa Rosa Medical Cen- ter has made a generous gift of $100,000 to the SRJC 100th An- niversary Campaign, designated to fund health sciences programs. The Kaiser Permanente gift
matches that of the lead gift from Exchange Bank and additional matches by American AgCredit, Sarah and Darius Anderson, The Codding Foundation and Clover Stornetta Farms, all of which join a transformational legacy gift from SRJC alumnus and his wife David and Dede Del Monte. “Many of our community’s future doctors, nurses, and other health care pro- fessionals are trained and educated at SRJC,” said Judy Coffey, RN, Sr. Vice President and Area Man- ager, Kaiser Permanente Marin- Sonoma. “Kaiser Permanente is honored to join with other com- munity leaders in support of Santa Rosa Junior College.”

Campaign was publicly launched at the President’s Address to the Community in May by Campaign
Co-Chairs Al Maggini and Pam Chanter with a goal to raise $15 million by the end of 2018. The Campaign is focused on sup-
port for the following four areas: student scholarships and support, faculty development, instructional programs and equipment, and en- dowment growth. To date, $2.6 million has been raised toward the Campaign goal. Santa Rosa Junior College was established in 1918 and has since been home to more than one mil- lion students. Santa Rosa Junior College is known for academic excellence, superb faculty and staff, comprehensive student ser- vices and beautiful facilities. This treasured community institution enrolls approximately 28,000 stu- dents each semester. SRJC is dedi- cated to removing barriers to stu- dents’ success and making higher education accessible to all.
