A double celebration at awards
Deutsche Bank’s Beth Farminer is toasting a double success – after being crowned the Future Face of Greater Birmingham and the Future Face of Professional Services. She received her awards at the second annual
dinner for Future Faces - the young professionals’ arm of Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce – at Edgbaston Stadium on Friday night. Around 350 people attended the awards
dinner, which was sponsored by HSBC, Elonex, Mahirs Experience and Park Regis Birmingham. Beth has been a member of Deutsche Bank’s Birmingham team for seven years. In her business management role, she helps to
help develop, report and communicate business objectives and targets, providing the leadership team with regular and accurate management information and governance reporting. Beth’s colleague Hayley Porter added to Deutsche Bank’s success by receiving the award for Future Faces Ambassador.

AGM will set out a plan for the future
Future Faces will hold a fifth anniversary celebration and confirm the appointment of its new president at next month’s AGM. The young professionals’ arm of Greater Birmingham Chambers of
Commerce is staging its AGM on Thursday 17th November at Park Regis Birmingham on Broad Street. With Adam Maguire of Higgs & Sons stepping down after 12 months as
president of Future Faces, a new president and two vice new presidents will be confirmed. There are also a number of vacancies for general positions on the Future Faces executive committee. Kate Evans, Future Faces manager, said: “As well as confirming our new
president and vice presidents, the AGM is an opportunity for us to set the agenda for Future Faces over the next 12 months. “There are a number of vacancies on the Future Faces committee, which
meets 12 times a year. Members who are interested in applying should get in touch on
