DEAN CURTIS FOR LIVING WELL
Margie Raimondo owns and operates Raimondo Winery in Mountain Home, Arkansas. She also has designed mustards.
Family business
Marty Raymondo made the first barrels of family wine from Zinfandel and Mission grapes from Southern California and bottled under the label Grandma and Grandpa’s Family Wine.
One of Margie Raimondo’s favorite possessions is his last vintage: a 1987 bottle of Zinfandel that adorns her tasting room.
Raimondo holds it up and reads the label: “Alcohol content undetermined.”
She laughs and calls the wine “pretty darn special.”
