We've not long returned from our cruise and already it seems like it was a distant memory. We had the most fantastic time,
although it was very tiring, and cannot wait to book again to go next year. We visited Pompeii, Rome and Pisa by which time I decided to spend the remainder of our days chilling by the pool on the ship. My other half did venture
ashore to Cannes with a friend he met and that gave me the time to catch up on my book, sunbathing and sampling the odd cocktail!!
The ship itself was outstanding and the service, food and entertainment was second to none. We were forever astounded as to how the thing kept afloat it was so big, one of life's mysteries to me.
Since returning, I then had the job of organising some celebrations for my sons 21st birthday, his turning 21 years has really made me feel old. We had a few friends arrive from the UK to join in with the celebrations which in turn resulted in quite a few late nights whilst they were here, but you have to make the most of the time together.
