Novato, CA. ~ You know summer is around the corner when The Novato Festival of Art, Wine & Music rolls into downtown Novato every June. The annual event, presented by the Novato Chamber of Com- merce, offers something for ev- eryone with more than 200 arts and crafts booths, a premium wine garden, food vendors, mi-
crobrews, a children’s area, and two stages with live music all day.

Saturday, June 11 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday, June 12, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. along Grant Avenue downtown be- tween Redwood Boulevard and Seventh Street and anchored by two stages. The Redwood
Stage is sponsored by Hen- nessy Funds. For the third year the Hopmonk Tavern Stage will be located at Seventh Street, featuring many of the entertainers that perform in their Novato club. Application Period Extended To June 30
New Chance For Local High School Seniors To Earn $1000 Scholarship SRJC Doyle Scholarship
Santa Rosa, CA. ~ The Santa Rosa Junior College (SRJC) Scholarship Office recently an- nounced a new opportunity for local high school seniors from the Class of 2016 to apply for Doyle Scholarships or Doyle Trustee Awards of up to $1000 to attend SRJC during the 2016-17 academic year. The 2016-17 Doyle Scholarship ap- plication, which initially closed on March 13, is being reopened for a brief period through June 30th.
SRJC is strongly encouraging high school seniors to apply during this special reopening. Funds are available for a wide range
of students, including
those who want to complete an associate’s degree, those who want to transfer eventu- ally to a four-year institution, and those working on career and technical certificate pro- grams. Students can access the online applications by visit- ing the SRJC Scholarship Of- fice’s Online Bulletin Board (
