June 2016

Wotcha. Here at Outline we’re all about sampling the spice of life. Sometimes we favour a rich tea, sometimes a sack o’ Haribo. Sometimes we work our absolute asses off, sometimes we kick back and chill to Blue Oyster Cult. And this month, in your trusted copy of your favourite monthly Norwich magazine, there’s a mega huge variety of stuff for you to feast your eyes on, you babes you.

Tere’s hip hop from two of the first rappers of all time courtesy of Te Sugarhill Gang and Te Furious Five, punk rock from the hilarious Wonk Unit, mad American psych rock from Moon Duo and cutting edge electro pop from Avec Sans. Te pesto on your pasta this month is our chat with Grasshopper from Mercury Rev, who’re playing a sold out gig at Norwich Arts Centre. Norwich’s own Wooden Arms are our Audioline pic o’the month, discover delish sangers at Logans and tasty beers at the Fat Cat. We went and took some snaps of you having hardcore larks at the Norfolk & Norwich Festival, Trashersaurus and Te Cut. You can win tickets to the illin’ Boom Bap festival in Suffolk, and Say Whaaaat offers tips and advice on how to have a rad and comfy time at festivals this summer.

And if none of that takes your fancy you might be actually dead.

I mentioned last month that we’re holding a birthday party as Outline turns a sweet 15 this summer. It’s at Te Owl Sanctuary on Saturday 23rd July, and we’ve a huge, hand picked line up of some of Norwich’s best live acts across two rooms for your delectation, plus some extra special treats. Te full line up will be announced on our Facebook and Twitter pages sooner than you can say “Ed Sheeran’s not playing”.

Oh and don’t forget to get your EU vote on, oui? Love you.
