BOOMBAP FESTIVAL 29-31st July

It’s the UK’s largest hip hop festival, and it’s right on our doorstep! Holla East Anglia! Tis will be Boom Bap’s fifth years of bringing the motherlovin’ ruckus to the Suffolk countryside and boy we’re glad they’re back. With a stellar line up including veterans from the UK and US hip hop and grime scenes alongside fresh newcomers it’ll be a hip hop happening. Artists this year include the legendary Pharoahe Monch, A.F.R.O and Kenny Ken, as well up upcoming grime star Elf Kid and players from the growing UK hip hop scene like Dirty Dike, members of Te Four Owls and also the marvellous Micall Parknsun. Tere are four stages to check out – the Main Stage, home to the biggest hitters, Square One which features reggae, trap, grime, garage, soul and funk, Sika Studios Stage which comes with a skate ramp and an eclectic range of music, and Deadbeat Disco providing the jungle, drum n bass and ragga. Record stalls and graffiti walls will abound in the beautiful Suffolk landscape too. If you’re all about the hip hop or you just want to learn more about it, head to Mildenhall in July. Word.
