COUNTRY HARVEST IS AN AWARD WINNING FOOD HALL, GIFT SHOP AND CAFE SITUATED ON THE A65 JUST OUTSIDE THE VILLAGE OF INGLETON. WITHIN EASY ACCESS OF YORKSHIRE, CUMBRIA, LANCASHIRE AND THE LAKE DISTRICT, COUNTRY HARVEST HAS ITS OWN BAKERY AND A BUTCHERY SECTION RUN BY FORMER YOUNG BUTCHER OF THE YEAR GEORGE TAYLOR. and have worked my way up from being a shelf stacker (when I left uni) to being appointed food hall manager eight years ago.


WHAT WAS YOUR BIGGEST CHALLENGE WHEN STARTING UP? It’s the same challenge as now really – making sure we sell the food customers want - high quality food, preferably produced in the North, and at the right price.
